A Simple 5-Step Process
Arizona ignition interlock device program guidelines differ from case to case. You may be eligible for an ignition interlock device 45 days after your initial license suspension. After a DUI conviction, you may apply for a restricted license, which allows you to drive under the condition that any motor vehicle you operate is outfitted with an ignition interlock device.
Arizona is an "all-offender" state, meaning a court can order an ignition interlock device for any DUI offense, including first-time offenses. The length of your IID requirement depends on the severity of your offense and is determined by the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD).
As an ADOT-certified provider, Low Cost Interlock devices meet all Arizona Department of Transportation standards for accuracy, reliability, and tamper detection.
